Collaboration of precision filtration systems and activated carbon!
In the beverage industry, reflecting consumers' health consciousness, a variety of vegetable juices utilizing diverse vegetables are being developed and sold. How can we transform materials that are green and difficult to drink into beverages? By combining our filtration system with activated carbon from Osaka Gas Chemical Co., Ltd., we propose a "method for producing delicious vegetable juice" that selectively removes off-flavors while retaining the components of the raw materials. [Challenge] Crushed vegetable juice contains a lot of fiber and solids. Once activated carbon is directly added to the vegetable juice, it cannot be removed without also discarding the necessary fibers and solids... [Proposed Solution] (Patent Application Number: 2017-117877) We have developed an off-flavor removal device for beverages in collaboration with Osaka Gas Chemical Co., Ltd. Using our DynaFilter, we separate the juice into a high-concentration liquid and a clear liquid, adsorb and remove off-flavors from the clear liquid using activated carbon, and recover the purified liquid.
